Milla Jovovich plays an U.S. Department of State employee working in London who becomes caught in a conspiracy and turns her into a fugitive. She sets out to clear her name and stop a terrorist attack on New York's Time Square before New Year's Eve.
McDermott plays Jovovich's boss and boyfriend.
Pierce Brosnan, Angela Bassett and Emma Thompson also star.
Katherine Heigl and Clive Owen were originally slated to star but are no longer involved.
McTeigue helms from a script by Phil Shelby.
Charles Winkler and Irwin Winkler will produce the feature.
Production begins January 20th in London
