Pine And Waltz Eyed For "Horrible Bosses 2"

Chris Pine and Christoph Waltz are being courted to play a father/son boss team in the upcoming comedy sequel "Horrible Bosses 2" says Deadline. Even at that though Waltz won’t be available, but Pine might do it.



We're the Millers co-writer Sean Anders has been tapped to replace original "Horrible Bosses" director Seth Gordon who vacated his commitment to call action a few weeks ago. Additionally Anders’ Millers co-writer John Morris has joined the project as an executive producer. Recently the pair performed a rewrite on the HB2 script initially penned by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the screenwriters behind the first film.

Anders and Morris were in contention for the job with such names as Greg Daniels, Etan Cohen and Todd Strauss-Schulson, according to sources.

There is as yet no word yet whether any of the original bosses will reprise their roles.

Stars Jason Bateman, Charlie Day Jason Sudeikis and Jamie Foxx are now confirmed to return for the film.

No timetable was given for when production would get underway.
