Maggie Smith Is "The Lady In The Van" Again

Maggie Smith will reprise her stage role in the feature film version of "The Lady In The Van" says Screen.

Nicholas Hytner will direct the story adapted from Alan Bennett's play about an eccentric woman who parked her van in Bennett's driveway and stayed there for 15 years.

Alex Jennings will play both Bennett and his alter ego, AB.

Hytner, Damian Jones and Kevin Loader will produce.

 Production is scheduled to begin in October in London for release late 2015.
