Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland, Gangster Squad) was in talks to direct, but a deal was never reached.
The story follows a father and son winning the chance to spend the night inside a new FAO Schwarz style store. Their sleepover is interrupted when thieves break in.
Will Ferrell is being eyed to play the dad.
Oren Uziel penned the screenplay.
Sony Pictures put the project in turnaround where Disney picked it up last year. Pink is also set to direct “Vacation Friends”, starring real life duo Anna Faris and Chris Pratt.
