Sudeikis Joins Jared Hess' New Comedy

THR reports that Jason Sudeikis is set to join an as yet untitled action comedy.

Previously titled "Loomis Fargo"-- Based on the real life 1997 theft of an armored car in North Carolina, the film would follow a band of Southern armored car guards who pull off a huge heist of $17 million.

Sudeikis would play a hitman here

Zach Galifianakis Owen Wilson and Kristen Wiig will also also star. Jim Carrey
was poised to star at one point but has moved on.

"Up All Night" creator Emily Spivey wrote the original draft of the script which numerous writers have taken a crack at it including Danny McBride and Jody Hill.

Jared Hess ("Napoleon Dynamite") is directing the project while Lorne Michaels and John Goldwyn are producing the film.

Cameras should be rolling the cameras next month in North Carolina to meet an August 2015 US release date.
