Sam Claflin Pegged To Spend His "Finest Hour" With Lily James

Sam Claflin and Lily James are primed to play the lead roles in the war drama "Their Finest Hour and a Half" says Deadline.

Based on author Lissa Evans' 2009 book, the story follows a World War II British movie crew trying to boost morale in the wake of The London Blitz.

"An Education" director Lone Scherfig's is calling action using an adapted script by Gaby Chiappe.

Amanda Posey (A Long Way Down) and Stephen Woolley are producing

Production is due to take place in summer 2015.

 Claflin is also starring in Scherfig's The Riot Club, which is rolling out in overseas markets soon
