Will Margot Robbie Do "The Taliban Shuffle"?

THR reports that."The Wolf Of Wall Street" and "Tarzan" star Margot Robbie is in talks to join the film adaptation of author Kim Barker's memoir "The Taliban Shuffle".

The book recounts Barker's (Tina Fey) years as a journalist in Afghanistan and Pakistan after arriving in the  region in 2002. During her time there she filed stories about militants, being a woman in wartime Iraq and Pakistan, dealing with boredom interspersed with dashes of violence and the promiscuous war-correspondent culture.

if she inks a deal, Robbie will be set as a blonde, competitive on-air news anchor that becomes friends with Baker, yet turns out to be ruthless in finding a story that will make her career.

Robbie Will Smith, Tom Hardy and Ryan Gosling are hovering over Fury and "End of Watch" director David Ayer's film version of the DC Entertainment's "Suicide Squad" comic book for Warner Bros. Should she do both things could get tricky for her schedule.

Robert Carlock penned the adapted screenplay from which "Crazy, Stupid, Love" writer/directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa will call action on "Shuffle"

Fey and Lorne Michaels will produce the pic.
