Mickey Rourke continues his stunning resurgence and this time he brings along a pal...
He has signed on to star in the hit man thriller "St. Vincent" says Variety.
When an assassin returns to his old New York neighborhood to finish off the murder on an informant that went awry. He takes refuge pretending to be a priest, but he then finds himself taking confessions from the man he's supposed to kill.
Walter Hill is directing from a script by Cameron Young.
Rourke and Hill previously teamed twenty years ago on 1989's "Johnny Handsome".
Hill has been busy with TV stuff of late--it's good to see him back doing big screen work...And something tells me St.will carry a bit more zing than than their last collaboration did...
Production kicks off later this year.
