Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen and Greek's Jacob Zachar are in talks to break from their respective TV gigs to join the feature film version of Cavegirl says The Hollywood Reporter.



Based on the series from the BBC the $6 million action comedy is a film about teenage problems in a stone age world. Thora Birch also stars.

Daniel Peacock, who co-wrote and co-directed two seasons of the original show, will make his big-screen directorial debut here.

The filmmakers are in negotiations with "Bee Gee" brothers Barry, and Robin Gibb to write the music.

Filming starts in April.
