Jay Roach's delayed comedy "Dinner For Schmucks" is finally going forward says Variety.
A remake of Francis Veber's 1998 French comedy "Dîner de cons,", the project suffered a number of snags among them when original star Sacha Baron Cohen had to leave the project and a screen rights tug.
Anchorman co-stars Steve Carell and Paul Rudd have cleared their schedules and will re-team when filming begins in October.
Meanwhile--Carell is also circling to star in the male-oriented comedy "Hi-T" says Variety .
The story centers on a man who begins taking testosterone injections after an injury leaves him deprived of the chemical, only to find his moods swing uncontrollably.
Kim Barker writes the script.
In any case Hi will take a bit of time to get underway--given schedules.
