Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment have the romantic comedy script "Merman" says Variety.
Jeff Moskowitz conceived the fish tale of a merman who visits land in order to regain the love of his ex-fiance mermaid, who has left him for a real man.
Brian Grazer who got his film-producing career going (not to mention his association with Ron Howard) with 1984’s mermaid comedy Splash. will do the same job here.
