Over/Under

Mickey Rourke has finally closed his deal to play the Russian villain in "Iron Man 2," reports Variety .

Rourke's involvement was unsure when it was revealed he'd been offered just $250,000 to be a villain in the 2010 sequel- his new price tag not disclosed, is thought to be much higher.

Rourke has apparently met with Jon Favreau and writer Justin Theroux to develop his character Whiplash which will be an amalgamation of that villain and Crimson Dynamo from the comics.

I'm glad the back and forth is done here--but--

Marvel still won't confirm Rourke's involvement though.

Meanwhile, Scarlett Johansson didn't fare quite as well with her contact

With Fox exercising its option to snag Emily Blunt for "Gulliver's Travels", Johannson will take over the role of Russian superspy Natasha Romanoff (aka. Black Widow) in the upcoming sequel according to Deadline Hollywood Daily.

"It's as bad as any deal that I've heard. It's lowball money. And it ties her to countless movies, including that ensemble The Avengers, which is what makes this brutal for a lot of actors" a source tells Nikki Finke.
I'm sure ScarJo welcomes the gig in high profile flick...She could have declined.
