Drew Barrymore and Justin Long are set to star together in the romantic comedy "Going the Distance" reports THR.Geoff Latulippe wrote the screenplay that follows a couple trying to maintain a long-distance relationship Finding out along the way it's not as easy as they thought it would be.
Long's character is a script reader, she is a middle school teacher who moves to Chicago.
Nanette Burstein is calling the action.
Barrymore and Long were dating at one point in real life...and both appeared in the recent rom-com He's Just Not That Into You--which certainly means chemistry and a sense of realism...Drew is also rumored to be lending her voice to Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel--which also features Long.
