Tony Scott is in negotiiating to direct the action train drama "Unstoppable" reports THR .
The story follows a rail company that tries to stop an unmanned, half-mile-long freight train carrying enough toxic liquids and poisonous gas to wipe out a nearby city.
Mark Bomback penned the script .The project is presently in development so no production schedule has yet been set.
Martin Campbell was previously attached to direct.
Scott is presently in post on "The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3" remake, another train-themed flick that stars Denzel Washington and John Travolta and opens June 12, 2009.
He's also got The Warriors and Emma's War on his plate.
