Home Field Advantage

OK now I'm really jazzed.Robert De Niro is coming by for a visit...sorta...

He has signed on to join the thriller The Dark Fields says Variety

Based on the book by Alan Glynn the story follows an unsuccessful writer (Bradley Cooper) who gets hold of a top-secret pharmaceutical drug that increases intelligence. He soon achieves the elusive success he was after, but the drug has lethal and lasting side effects while people begin pursuing him.

De Niro is going to play a brilliant financial mogul and is one of those folks who goes after Cooper's character.

Leslie Dixon adapted the script from which Neil Burger (The Illusionist) is directing.

Elizabeth Banks was cast earlier this week.

Scott Kroopf and Ryan Kavanaugh will produce the pic.

The film will start shooting this May in my backyard of Philadelphia!
