Taraji P. Henson ("The Karate Kid" remake) is in talks to star in the film adaptation of the book Baggage Claim says Black Voices. The story follows a 35-year-old flight attendant who goes on a month-long mission to fly all around the country to find a husband. Along the way she meets some surprising suitors from a hip-hop producer, a reverend, a rising congressman and a textile tycoon.
Author/playwright David E. Talbert (First Sunday) wrote the script, based on his own 2005 debut novel, and will direct.
