Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Groot and Rocket Racoon will team up for the film.

Meantime "The Seventh Son" and "Blood Diamond" scribe Charles Leavitt has taken over writing duties on the film adaptation of the MMORPG World of Warcraft.
Sam Raimi and screenwriter Robert Rodat ("Saving Private Ryan") previously completed at least a 40-page treatment. Raimi has since departed as director, Leavitt will pen the latest draft of the fantasy tale with the hopes of moving ahead in coming months.
