An adaptation of late author William Styron's 1951 novel--the story centers on a dysfunctional and disintegrating family on the day of the funeral of one of the daughters named Peyton (Stewart).
Jennifer Lawrence was keen on taking the role but is swamped with doing sequels "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" and "X-Men: Days Of Future Past".
Jeff Sharp will produce the film.
