Riddick Rated "R"

The Motion Picture Association of America has given the long awaited action sequel from  David Twohy called Riddick--an R rating.  The rating was given for "strong violence, language and some sexual content/nudity."

Picking up where the PG-13 rated  The Chronicles of Riddick left off, the sequel has the anti-hero (Vin Diesel) left for dead on a harsh planet with three moons, populated with nasty creatures like trisons and mud demons, being hunted by at least two ships populated by mercenaries.

Karl Urban, Katee Sackhoff Jordi Molla Matt Nable, Bokeem Woodbine, Conrad Pla, Raoul Trujillo, Nolan Funk Keri Hilson and WWE wrestler Dave Bautista co-star.

The film hits theaters next year.
