Argentine filmmaker Pablo Trapero is attached to direct the India-set crime drama "Six Suspects" says Screen Daily.
This, Trapero's first English-language feature, is based on author Vikas Swarup's movel which screenwriter John Hodge ("The Beach," "Trainspotting") is adapting. The story revolves around six guests at a party who are accused of killing the son of an Indian cabinet minister.
Paul Raphael will produce the film.
Ptoduction hopes to get underway next Fall.
Swarup’s novel Q & A was the basis for Danny Boyle’s Oscar-winning "Slumdog Millionaire".
