Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton will star in the rom-com "And So It Goes.." says The Wrap.
Douglas will play a self-centered realtor with an empathy deficiency, who ends up learning to love again after reconnecting with his granddaughter and forming a friendship with a neighbor played by Keaton.
P.J. Hogan ("Muriel's Wedding") will direct from a script by Mark Andrus ("As Good As It Gets").
Producer Mark Damon had this to say about the duo.
"Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton are a perfect pairing as eccentrics who refuse the idea of love until they are hopelessly, inextricably mired in it. How they react to late in life love is hilarious, but moving, entertaining, yet tearfully touching - I must say, I absolutely love this script."
Production kicks off by spring 2013.
