Cusack Gets Good "Cell" Reception

John Cusack is attached to star in the film adaptation of Stephen King's psychological thriller novel "Cell" says Screen Daily.

The story follows a father who sets out to find his wife and son in the wake of a catastrophic pulse transmitted via mobile phones.

King co-wrote the adapted screenplay with The Last House On The Left screenwriter Adam Alleca. The pic is currently out to directors.

Richard Saperstein, Brian Witten and Shara Kay will produce the film

Cusack previously starred in the 2007 film "1408," another adaptation of a King work
