Paramount Turns Insurrection v3.6 Comic Book Into Film

Paramount has won the film rights to the BOOM! Studios comic Insurrection v3.6 which creatior Blake Masters is attached to adapt into a film says Heat Vision.

Described as a sci-fi Spartacus, the story is set in a future where corporations are more powerful than governments and command their own armies. The armies consist of clones who, for decades, have been treated like a sub-class. That all changes when one man stands up and leads a revolution that has vast repercussions.

Michael De Luca and Matthew Tolmach and Ross Richie will produce.

Masters created the TV crime drama "Brotherhood" and scripted the upcoming "2 Guns" adaptation
