The story centers on an unemployed woman ("Bridesmaids" actress Melissa McCarthy) who discovers her husband is having an affair and decides to go on a road trip with her alcoholic, foul-mouthed, diabetic grandmother. (MacLaine)
McCarthy co-wrote the script with husband Ben Falcone from which they will make their feature film directorial debut.
