McAvoy Talks X-Men, The Crow, Wanted 2

Out on the stump for the late March  London-set crime thriller "Welcome to the Punch," actor James McAvoy recently talked with Getty Images Entertainment about his upcoming film work and in the process cleared up one or two rumors.

Asked about reports that he is in talks to star in the upcoming-long in development reboot of The Crow he says:

"It's not for real. I don't think it's materialized into anything truthful yet... it's just been rumor mill stuff."

On "X-Men: Days of Future Past" he says that his current schedule has kept him from sitting down and reading the film's script:

"It's in my inbox. I've still got to read it. I'm very excited about it, but I've just been doing so much of this and working at night so I'm starting work at 9 and don't finish until midnight so I'm not being flippant. I honestly can't wait to read it and find out what I'm doing, but I've just got no time right now."

He also says Wanted 2 could still happen, but not until the script is there:

"They're doing the right thing. They won't go ahead with it unless they get a story that feel totally and utterly 100% passionate about. If they don't have that, then frankly they shouldn't go ahead. But if they get a story together that they feel that way about then great, yeah."
