Landis Jr. Gives "Chronicle 2 Update

"Chronicle" writer Max Landis tells Bloody Disgusting that Chronicle 2 is still in the works, although things are moving slowly:

"The report came out that [Fox] didn’t like my script. They liked my script. It’s just a really dark script. The question is more of ‘How do we all compromise to get something we want?’ And that’s an incredibly slow process… [I am] 60-75% sure that it will be a pretty damn good movie."

Last spring Landis said the script will focus on the aftermath of the events in the first film and Matt Garetty (Alex Russell)

Previously Landis said that he and director Josh Trank had mapped out story for a trilogy of "Chronicle" films.
