Bateman Will Do A Disney Toon

Heat Vision reports that Disney Animation and actor Jason Bateman are joining forces for an as yet Untitled Comedy.

No story details were given, save for the fact that the project is said to be an, "animal comedy."

Byron Howard (Tangled, Bolt) will direct, but we don't know who is working on the screenplay or who will produce. Before making his directorial debut in 2008 on Bolt, Howard worked in the animation department on such Disney animated fare as Pocahontas, Mulan, and Brother Bear.

We do not know yet when production will begin, or when to expect its release.

This pic will be Bateman's second time providing his voice for an animated movie, following his role in the English version of Luc Besson's 2006 adventure Arthur and the Invisibles.
