Jaimie Alexander ("Thor") has joined the cast of the black comedy murder mystery adaptation "London Fields" says Deadline.

Based on British author Martin Amis' book, the story follows an hypnotic and clairvoyant femme fatale (Amber Heard) in London's underworld who sets a plan in motion to fulfill the prophecy of her own murder. Her web entangles a terminally ill writer (Billy Bob Thornton), a street hustler (Jim Sturgess) and an unhappily married banker (Theo James). The writer convinces her to let him document her manipulations in a book.

Alexander will play a character named 'Hope'.

Mathew Cullen's calling action using an adapted script by Amis and Roberta Hanley.

"Elizabeth" and "The Four Feathers" director Shekhar Kapur, Michael Winterbottom and David Cronenberg have been previously attached to call action.
