The sequence required Crews to sit in the back of a truck that Statham was driving along the edge of the Black Sea.
"He literally is supposed to stop the truck, we get out, we shoot, the whole thing. The truck doesn't stop. The truck goes over the dock, into the Black Sea with Jason Statham driving. He's in the water, in the truck. We were freaking out, everybody's screaming."
Statham thankfully got out, swam to the surface, dried off ready for the next take.
As for truck ? It still sits at the bottom of the sea.
Sylvester Stallone, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Dolph Lundgren, Wesley Snipes, Jet Li, Randy Couture, Antonio Banderas, Ronda Rousey, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Victor Ortiz, Kellan Lutz star.
It has also been confirmed that Rousey, Ortiz, Lutz and 24-year-old Glen Powell (The Dark Knight Rises) will play members of "a younger group of tech-savvy action heroes" who will clash with Stallone's group at first and then eventually team-up with them.
The movie will be directed by Patrick Hughes (Red Hill) from a script by Richard Wenk.
Boaz Davidson and Avi Lerner produce the film.
The movie is slated to open August 15th 2014.
