The series writer Leigh Whannell has signed on to write the next one. Jason Blum and Oren Peli are also returning as producers.

The first two films starred Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Ty Simpkins, and Barbara Hershey--No word if any of them will return for a third go round
