The script, which made the 2010 Black List, follows three friends (Zac Efron, Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller) in New York City who make a pact to remain single who make a pact to stay single after Jordan’s character gets dumped. However, when Efron and Teller find love interests, (played by Imogen Poots and Mackenzie Davis) they enter the awkward stage of not being able to define their relationships.
"True Blood'" co-star Deborah Ann Woll will play the ex-wife of one of the men in this trio.
Tom Gormican wrote and directed the movie.
Justin Nappi and Kevin Turen, Scott Aversano and Andrew O'Connor will produce the film--while Michael Simkin, Jason Barrett, and Manu Gargi are executive producing.
That Awkward Moment hits theaters in Jan. 2014.
From the looks of things Efron gets himself in more than a few tight spots.

This film marks Efron's second s foray with adult comedy--he also stars in the comedy "Neighbors" formerly known as Townies--which hits May 9th of next year. Watch some promo material for that film here
