The story follows an aspiring actress named Mia (Watson) and a cocky, charismatic jazz pianist Sebastian, (Teller) who fall in love in Los Angeles. They soon discover that balancing love and art in such a cutthroat climate isn't easy.
Sundance Film Festival favorite Whiplash (starring Teller) writer-director Damien Chazelle pulls double duty here as well.
Chazelle is also expected to reteam with Whiplash composer Justin Hurwitz for La La Land.
