Albert Brooks, Hannibal Buress, Lake Bell, Bobby Moynihan and Ellie Kemper will all lend their voices to a 3D animated comedy adventure that is an Untitled Pets Movie for Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures says The Wrap.
The action comedy is set in a Manhattan apartment building where the fogs hang out together while the humans are off at work or school.
Louis C.K. plays Max a quick-witted terrier and Modern Family scene stealer Eric Stonestreet is a sloppy mongrel, the pair end up on the the mean streets of New York where Kevin Hart's adorable white bunny character is the leader of an army of abandoned pets seeking revenge.
Brooks will be voicing a pet named Tiberius, while Bell will play sarcastic kitty Chloe. Kemper, is Max’s human owner, while Moynihan will be a pug named Mel. Buress’ character hasn’t been revealed yet.
Despicable Me franchise writers Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, and director Chris Renaud who co-helms with Yarrow Cheney.
Chris Meledandri will produce the film which already has a February 12th 2016 release date.
