TMNT Reboot: Photo Of Shredder

While we wait for Paramount Pictures to release the full-length trailer for its "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" reboot, the TMNT_Fansite has posted a new official photo showcasing our best look yet of   William Fichtner (The Dark Knight, Drive Angry) as TMNT nemesis Shredder as he confronts Tony Shalhoub voicing the role of wise rat Master Splinter.

Jeremy Howard will play Donatello Noel Fisher will play Michelangelo and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire co-star Alan Ritchson plays Raphael Johnny Knoxville will voice the role of Leonardo.


During production, Pete Ploszek played Leonardo and Danny Woodburn played Splinter in mo-cap suits--the studio was always open to changing the voice component of the film so that is what happened with 2 characters.

Will Arnett is tapped to play Casey Jones opposite fellow live action actor Megan Fox as Journalist April O'Neil
The film was set to be live-action but then it was decided that the turtles would be brought to life using motion capture/CGI like 2011's "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes".

Liebesman directed from a script by Kevin Eastman, Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec.

Brad Fuller Andrew Form, Galen Walker and Scott Mednick would co-produce with Michael Bay.

Originally due for release on June 6th 2014, the movie is now slated to arrive in theaters on August 8th.
