Warner Bros is in the early planning stages of launching a live-action reboot of the "Scooby-Doo" franchise says Deadline.
Raja Gosnell directed the 2002 film based on the classic cartoon created by duo Hanna-Barbera.
The movie starred
Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard, Linda Cardellini and Isla Fisher and went on to gross $268 million worldwide leading to a 2004 sequel.
The studio is starting from scratch with Randall Green hired to pen the new screenplay
