"For The Dogs" Gets Title Change--Loses Another Female Lead

The action thriller "For The Dogs" has been re-titled "Hunter’s Prayer" says ScreenDaily.

Based on author Kevin Wignall's novel and centers on a solitary assassin (Sam Worthington) who agrees to help a bright teenage girl exact revenge on those who mercilessly murdered her parents and younger brother.

Emma Roberts and Hailee Steinfeld were both linked to the project previously but are no longer invovled thus casting continues for the female lead.

Oren Moverman will re-write a script by Paul Leyden from which Jonathan Mostow will direct.

Worthington, Leyden, Anthony Rhulen, Navid McIlhargey, John Schwarz and Michael Schwarz will produce.

Filming begins in the UK and Hungary next year.
