Liam Neeson is being courted to star
in the new film adaptation of author Harlan Coben's novel Tell No One says Deadline.
The story follows a pediatrician out on a lake with his wife when she
suddenly vanishes and he is attacked. She turns up dead and is declared
the victim of a serial killer. Years later, more bodies turn up and the
doctor becomes the prime suspect, while at the same time he is given
evidence that his wife wasn’t dead at all and has gone into hiding for
something related to the work she did.
The project stalled following the departure of Ben Affleck who was slated to direct. With Jane Got A Gun and Warrior helmer Gavin O'Connor taking over, development has resumed using the existing adapted script by Chris Terrio ("Argo"). He will reportedly have to do more work on it before Neeson will officially sign. It will happen, but is probably gonna be a little while off before it happens.
Frank Marshall is producing the film.
The story was first brought to the screen in the 2006" hit French film directed by Guillaume Canet starring François Cluzet and Kristin Scott Thomas.
