The first photos from the the action sequel Taken 3 have dropped over at USA Today.
Liam Neeson has reportedly closed a near $20 million deal to return as Bryan Mills, the retired CIA agent who likes to beat up bad guys. Famke Janssen will reprise her role as Lenore Mills Maggie Grace is set to reprise her role as as Kim Mills as well.
Jonny Weston will play the part of Kim’s boyfriend. Forest Whitaker also stars. Janssen's Hemlock Grove series co-star Dougray Scott is also in the pic.
In this film, Mills is framed for the murder of someone close to him and is on the run.
"Taken 2" helmer Olivier Megaton did return to direct while Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen were back working on the script.
Beeson will produce the film.
The first "Taken" had good reviews and took in $226 million worldwide from a $25 million budget. Taken 2 despite having poor reviews, still made an impressive $376 million from its $45 million budget.
The sequel has been scheduled for a January 9th release.
