"The Lego Movie" directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are linked to a film adaptation of author Graeme Simsion's "The Rosie Project" says Deadline.
The comedic novel follows a professor of genetics who may suffer from Asperger's Syndrome’s and has never been on a second date until he embarks upon The
Wife Project, designing a questionnaire to help him find the perfect
partner. The partner would be a punctual, non-drinking, non-smoking female
who will fit in with his regimented lifestyle. However when an
unorthodox and free-spirited woman named Rosie appears, she may just be
his perfect match.
"The Spectacular Now"and "The Fault In Our Stars" scribes Scott Neustadter & Michael H. Weber
are set to adapt the script after Simsion worked on the first draft. While the directors are developing, they won't commit to helm the pic until the script is done.
Matt Tolmach and Michael Costigan would produce here
