A leading lady has been found who will star opposite "actor" Nicolas Cage in his next flick--a Sci-fi project called "Knowing" according to The Hollywood Reporter.And the lucky lady is Rose Byrne (pictured)
Byrne plays the daughter of a woman who buried a time capsule in 1962 bearing the dates of the assassinations of historical figures, the hotel fire death of the wife of a professor (Cage) and the end of the world. After the professor discovers the capsule and its contents he alerts her, She is, at first skeptical, but soon begins remembering strange incidents from her childhood.
Alex Proyas, who has done some fantastic stuff in the genre, like The Crow and Dark City is set to direct the pair.
I also like Byrne a heck of a lot too...I just hope the overrated under skilled Cage doesn't ruin what could otherwise be a great flick..We'll know soon enough...Production is set to start on March 25th in Melbourne, Australia.
