Brendan Gleeson (pictured) has signed on to fill the final lead role in the Paul Greengrass-directed war thriller according to Variety.Inspired by Imperial Life in the Emerald City: by Rajiv Chandrasekaran, the drama focuses on the dichotomy in Iraq between the Green Zone where troops are housed, and the streets of Baghdad.
Gleeson, plays an American soldier. Brian Helgeland adapted the script and filming is already underway in Spain.
