Writer/Director Troy Duffy has revealed via a video announcement posted on the Slashfilm website that a sequel to "The Boondock Saints" is finally happening.
"The Boondock Saints: All Saints Day" will begin filming this Summer and original cast members Norman Reedus, Sean Patrick Flanery (pictured) and Billy Connolly are "excited" to be coming back.
The original has become a cult classic and is too often dismissed by its detractors as a Reservoir Dogs or The Usual Suspects knock off with its non-linear storytelling and violence. But as a fan of the film it's more than that-Just trust me....I'm thrilled by this news!!!
