Former "Home Improvement" star Tim Allen (pictured) is ready to start pulling double duty-As actor/director on his next feature film...Variety :
The movie, an indie-comedy called Crazy on the Outside.
Allen's character is a former criminal, who has paid his debt to society and is just trying to adjust to life on the outside living with his wacky sister.
Can Tim Allen direct? Too soon to know for sure...From the sound of things it seems like "Crazy" is aiming for a more adult audience--Then the usual family fare we've associated with Allen since his TV gig
Allen has assembled quite a supporting cast to help him through his first time calling the shots... Ray Liotta, Carrie-Anne Moss, Julie Bowen, and fellow TV sit-com guy Kelsey Grammer are set to appear.
