Garth Franklin of Dark Horizons offers up a few interesting tid-bits from Sho-West 2008...
-The title for the fourth "Terminator" - "Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins" - has been dropped and will now go into production without a working title.
A May 22nd 2009 release is still being targeted.
Of more immediate concern for the franchise...Will the excellent but ratings challenged TV spin-off Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles be renewed? I sure as heck hope that it will be, If the show ends unresolved at this point--I will be super-peeved...
- It's not official yet, but "Iron Man" looks like it might open a few days earlier in select markets - likely Wednesday April 30th.
Not a surprise considering the buzz and that the flick unofficially kicks off the blockbuster season with hardly any competition
- A second trailer for "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" will hit screens sometime in April, quite possibly with "Iron Man".
- "Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs", Disney's "Bolt" and Disney/Pixar's "Up" will all be 3D releases. Disney plans to have five 3D films in 2009.
