Yikes! Bobby and Peter Farrelly may want Johnny Depp and Sean Penn to star in their "Three Stooges movie!!!?In Touch via Just Jared claim, the brother filmmakers are hoping both Depp and Penn will star their upcoming remake/anthology film.
"They want Johnny to play Moe and Sean Penn will be Larry- they're still looking to cast Curly" an insider told the paper.
No names are officially confirmed. The bros won't begin work on the project until they finish "Walter the Farting Dog" starring the Jonas Brothers which goes into production this spring.
I find this talk dubious...That said Penn has been known to act like a Stooge away from the set--so maybe he's just been rehearsing Larry all along?
