The story, first to hit the screen in 1958, is a Faustian tale of a baseball fan who makes a pact with the Devil to become a star player who helps his team win the world series.
Jake Gyllenhaal is the fan while Jim Carrey is the Devil.
Graff will adapt Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel's version of the screenplay.
Craig Zadan and Neil Meron will produce the pic.
