Louis Mellis ("Sexy Beast" 44 Inch Chest) will write the screenplay for "The Princess' Gangster" reports Reuters. The film deals with the true story of Princess Margaret's affair with late 60's gangster turned-movie star John Bindon. Bindon appeared in 13 films between 1967 and 1979, including Inspector Clouseau, Barry Lyndon and Quadrophenia. He died in 1993 at the age of 50.
John Hart, Brian Carmody and Patrick Milling Smith will produce the pic.
