Sex-Crazed Beauty

Emily Browning ("The Uninvited) is replacing Mia Wasikowska ("Alice in Wonderland") in Julia Leigh's "Sleeping Beauty" The Australian (via The Playlist).

Leigh wrote and makes her directorial debut on the pic which.sees Browning play a university student who becomes a prostitute that caters to a particular fetish. She's a 'sleeper', spending nights in a drugged stupor in a special chamber where men await. When she wakes up, she has no memory of what is done to her.

Jessica Brentnall is producing and filming kicks off next month.

Wasikowska instead, will star as the lead in Cary Fukunaga’s adaptation of Jane Eyre according to Deadline Hollywood.
