Kutcher Half The Man He Used To Be

Ashton Kutcher who got his big break playing Michael Kelso on the TV sit-com That '70s Show' all the while he was making movies--is going small screen again. He will replace "winning" nut job Charlie Sheen on TV's laffer Two and a Half Men says THR.

Several candidates were on the radar as possible replacements for Sheen including Jeremy Piven, Hugh Grant and John Stamos.

"Men" creator Chuck Lorre is said to have crafted a story line to introduce Kutcher in a way that satisfies the network and studio.

"It's really funny," one source said. "People are going to love it." in addition, a source told THR that Ashton would receive a "huge payday". Reports say he is getting 1 Million per ep--earning more over time than he does per film.

So far the network has declined to comment waiting instead for TV upfronts most likely

Kutcher tweeted about getting the gig in a pretty clever way and then said in statement that 'I Can't Replace Charlie Sheen' For his part  Sheen is bitter about the Kutcher news.

Let's face it folks will be curious to see how AK will do here-Ratings will be high...But make no mistake though if the casting change isn't successful--it won't be his fault--it's gonna be Sheen and his actions that will have sunk the series
