Lay-dies Man

Frank Grillo has joined the cast of the gambling dramedy "Lay The Favorite" says The Hollywood Reporter.



Based on Beth Raymer bestselling memoir, the story charts her rise from lowly Vegas cocktail waitress to one of the top sports gambling bookmakers.

Grillo will play part of the gambling racket crew and fancies himself to be a ladies man

Rebecca Hall has been cast in the lead role.Catherine Zeta-Jones will play the wife of Raymer's mentor, a cantankerous ex–New York bookmaker (Bruce Willis). Justin Timberlake is set to portray a Long Island bookie. Joshua Jackson also stars

D.V. DeVincentis (”High Fidelity,” “Grosse Pointe Blank”) wrote the adapted script from which Stephen Frears-directs

Randall Emmett produces the pic.
